Pet care experience
I will provide a stable, quiet, relaxing home environment. No kids, no other pets, I live with my partner in our 1-bedroom apartment in the West Village. There's an elevator in case older dogs are not comfortable with stairs. I work a 9-5 job at a very dog-friendly office - so if you prefer, not only will your dog have companionship in the morning & night, I can bring your dog with me to my office. My coworkers love it, and it's great for socialization! I also love spending my lunch breaks at Madison Square Park, so if your dog loves the dog park they'll have access to it each day! If your dog prefers staying home, I am just a quick walk away from my apartment to make sure your pup gets all the potty breaks and love it deserves! Additionally, my office is extremely flexible, so I manage my own schedule and can work from home if needed. I had dogs growing up, roommates with dogs, and volunteered at the ASPCA walking dogs - so your BFF is in good hands! I'm flexible, friendly, and always a phone call/Facetime away if you ever need to check-in! I realize it's hard leaving your loved one in someone else's care - but with me, it'll be like your pup got their own little vacation!

Jessica was fantastic! My dog is a rescue and typically takes a while to warm up to people - but she liked Jessica almost immediately. She brought my dog to work with her which was a definite treat and provided constant updates. I’d recommend her to anyone - as would my dog!
My dog had great time! Jessica was so organized ( I am not!) and kept us up to date with photos - where our dog was always smiling - from our dog's week long stay during the Christmas holiday. Also she arranged time to invite us over to her very dog friendly & immaculate apartment before she dog sat. Jessica is so nice! She even gave our dog a fun toy on Christmas so he would't feel left out and he loves it! Our dog will definitely vacation with her again!
Jessica is wonderful. Duncan could not have had a better stay. I received photos throughout my vacation and at times wondered if who was having a better time! We will be booking Jessica again! Triple 5 stars!

(We do allow dogs on our bed, but only if that's what you'd prefer! Otherwise, they're free to sleep on our couch or you can bring their dog bed.) Would they love to come to work with me? Or are they happier at home? How do they feel about dog parks? How much & when do they eat? I’m happy to tailor my services to each specific dog.

I love dogs of all types - active ones who prefer to run around a dog park, lazy ones who will binge Netflix with me, and even nervous ones who I can provide a calm home for. My services depend on what you & your dog prefer! Each dog is unique and I'm more than prepared to learn their particular schedules, preferences, and quirks. I was trained as an ASPCA dog walker - so I've handled dogs that come from all different kinds of backgrounds. I'm especially good at being patient & building trust with tentative dogs. Each dog has their own personality and story - so my goal is to make them as comfortable as possible, while also keeping you in the loop so you know your pup is in good hands!
