I'm a graphic designer living in east Hollywood. I've recently started freelancing, so I'm on my own schedule and looking to make a little extra $ doing something I love. I am 100% a dog person- I grew up around mainly large breed dogs, and have experience with all types: from puppies to enthusiastic teenagers who don't know their own strength to elderly and special-needs dogs, training/behavior reinforcement, and administering medications/first aid/reacting to emergencies. I have always felt a special bond with animals, especially dogs. I started pet-sitting for neighbors when I was young, and somehow by the age of 12 or so I'd established myself as the neighborhood pet whisperer. Many of the dogs I've cared for were victims of prior abuse/neglect, with resulting behavioral/trust issues. I have a high level of patience, and I believe that in many cases these animals just want to need that they're being "listened to" and respected.
