Reliable Sitter of ALL Pets

Pet care experience

Pets have been a valuable part of my life while growing up. Although I don’t have a pet right now, I still know how important a dog can be for someone. I know that they can be sources of support and energy in any environment, fitting to the owner, so they need to be properly cared for and shown a lot of love. I want to help in whatever way I can to maintain loving and stress-free environment for your dog while you are away. Dog snuggles are one of my favorite things so don't doubt your dog will feel so loved and appreciated while you are away. I have always had a dog in my home growing up and have cared for dogs in all shapes and sizes, no challenge is too big. I am ready to make your dog's dreams come true! As a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest from Brooklyn I’m already doing a ton of exploring and wandering through the neighborhoods so your pet is sure to get plenty of outdoor time walking around with me! Im currently working part time in my studio dyeing and sewing garments which luckily can happen any time of day! My schedule is flexible to accommodate any long trips, weekend getaways, or just a short work trip overnighter. Knowledgeable on delivering meds, crate training, wee wee pads, and needs for gated off areas. Always flexible to accommodate your particular needs regarding your home and beloved animal. I work part time as an artist and from my computer, so I can accommodate any of your pets schedules into my day with ease! I have lots of experience with crate training and can accommodate any particular needs you may have for ensuring the safety and comfort of your pet. All off leash in the yard time will be supervised, and any walks we go on outside the home will be leashed with your preference of collar/harness.

Jessica was great with our pup and took great care of our house as well. She even went the extra mile to help us out when our flight plans got changed and we needed some scheduling flexibility. We really appreciated her care, her flexibility, and all the sweet pictures she sent us!

Jessica is so patient and met the needs of the two dogs (and me) so we would all be comfortable with the stay. We were kept updated, and it was clear that the dogs loved having Jessica in the home. I absolutely recommend Jessica to care for your home and pets!

Jessica sat for our 2 boys over a long weekend. She was very friendly and communicative. She took good care of our home as well. We'll definitely book with Jessica again, it was very simple and easy!

Whatever you do, PLEASE do not let this woman watch your animals. She is a liar, will not care for your animals and technically vandalized our home by ripping down the security camera that was catching her in her lies. Here is a recap of our experience working with Jessica. I am floored that someone like this would even consider working for Rover - she clearing does not care for animals or their well being, she left my dog along for 18 HOURS!!! Also - I implore everyone using this service to get security cameras for their doors, so they can see the comings and goings of these pet sitters. Day One (Oct. 7th) - She arrived on time, but then we saw her leave in the evening, and she did not return that evening. I texted and called her, to remind her that she needed to stay the night with the animals, and told her that the security camera did not alert us of her returning to the house or any activity in the morning. She told me that was because she left out the Kitchen side door, and she was indeed at the house that night and that she took Zeus out for a walk that morning. We have cameras outside that door so this was a lie - there was NO activity and she arrived back at the house around 11am, leaving the animals alone for 12+ hours. Day Two (Oct. 8th) - Stated she took Zeus for a walk, this is not true we can tell by the amount of time she was gone and it was never longer than 2-3 mins. Day Three (Oct. 9th) - Stated she took Zeus for a walk, this is not true we can tell by the amount of time she was gone and it was never longer than 2-3 mins. Day Four (Oct. 10th) - She packed her bags and left around 5pm. At 11pm PST I texted her asking when she would be returning to the house. No Answer. When I woke up the next morning, she had still not returned to the house. I called our regular pet sitter Alexa and asked her to go over there and use the spare key to let Zeus out. At this point Zeus has been left alone for 15 hours - he is 11 years old and I explicitly state on my Rover profile and my personal care sheet that he needs to be left out every 4-8 hours. Alexa arrives, let's Zeus out, and gives him breakfast. Jessica is nowhere to be seen. Around 11am PST (at this point Zeus would have been left for 18 hours) Jessica comes, and the first thing she does is rip the security camera and throw it into the bushes. She then proceeds to text me telling me that she has been there the entire time, and the security camera must have fallen at some point during the night. Interesting since it captured Alexa coming and going 2 hours prior just fine. We told Jessica that we were getting an earlier flight back and to leave the key on the counter and lock the house behind her. We had Alexa come and check on the animals until we got home that night. I truly do NOT understand why someone like this would take employment watching someone else's pets when they clearly do not care or are not compassionate about animal needs. We will most likely never use Rover again after this experience. This is supposed to be a tool that is helpful, and the only thing that is has brought is stress, we were unable to enjoy our vacation, we felt trapped knowing she had access to our house and pets while we were thousands of miles away. Zeus is the most calm and happy dog, and the weeks following Jessica's stay he was a completely different dog. He was anxious, and panicked - having fits at 3am in the morning - needing to go out, anxious itching and more.
