Since I was 8, I've been looking after all kinds of dogs and cats. I grew up surrounded by animals in a country house—cats, dogs, horses, chickens with their cute chicks, cows, you name it! I simply adore animals. My neighbors, friends, and family trust me to take care of their pets, and I love every bit of it. Pets are the sweetest and kindest angels, bringing balance to my life. I've cared for many cats and dogs, some requiring special attention, and I never gave up on them! Always showering them with love and attention, while respecting their space. So, also, I had an experience with my sweet kitten, Marie Curie, who became a star in January 2023. My fiance and I adopted Marie when she was a baby, and we didn't know that she was FELV Positive. We took her to a Vet specializing in felines (in fact, the Vet had the Cat Friendly Practice Gold seal). Marie took immunomodulators and probiotics. But 6 months later, we found out a mediastinal lymphoma. We started chemotherapy and she was taking some medications that my fiancé and I were administering. Marie went back to being the same happy kitten, the chemotherapy saved her. But almost 1 year later, she had a significant worsening because of the FELV and then, her physical body was gone. Her physical body didn't resist, although her pure and strong spirit remained alive ❤️
