Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Jessie and I have been a dog-lover and owner for all of my life. I have taken care of senior dogs and I have raised puppies. I have only ever owned large breeds but all dogs are welcome! I have a full time job at UVA, but I can be available for early morning walks (before 7am). I live near my work so if boarding, my husband or I can come home for potty breaks or a quick walk! I am a UVA graduate who fell in love with Charlottesville and never left! I would love to walk or hang out with your furry friend

I have two dogs, a black lab named Pepper and a black lab named Jalapeño (Hallie, for short). As you can imagine, they are very sweet but also very high energy so having a fenced in yard and a beautiful neighborhood to walk in makes us an ideal choice to take care of your furry friend!

Please let me know in advance if your dog can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. Since my husband and I are both employed full time, we can come home mid way through the day for breaks but will not be home all hours.
A typical day
I live near lots of trails and have a beautiful neighborhood that is great for long walks! I also love to play fetch with those who enjoy and with toys that each specific dog is drawn too. Plus you can’t forget the cuddles!

Availability
While I have a full time job, I leave a high energy dog and live nearby. Therefore, I am always able to come home for potty and exercise breaks as necessary!
