Pet care experience
I've taken care of my own fur baby (cat) for almost 10 years and just added another kitten to the family in August 2022! I also grew up with a sweet, loving family dog for over 16 years. I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends in the past.

Jessica is great with animals. She has a pure heart and loves playing with our fur babies. Rather it is giving them belly rubs or telling them “good stretch” when she visits them. She is a true animal person.
Jessica is a pet owner herself and takes great care of her cat, Poe. She is also great with dogs. I witnessed how gentle and loving she was with her dog, Comet. Jessica is a very responsible small business owner too! I definitely recommend her for being a responsible and loving pet caregiver.

I have a deep affection for both cats and dogs and understand they interact with humans very differently. With cats, I start by giving them plenty of space and let them approach me on their own terms. I use soft voices and slow movements. With dogs, I bring a calm and positive energy to the first interaction to assess their excitement level. Once they have calmed down to my level, they get plenty of affection!

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, such as medication, dietary restrictions, or behavioral issues. I prefer to walk dogs that are under ~65 pounds so I can still keep hold of them securely. For cats, please let me know what their general temperament is and if there are any medical or dietary issues I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs both inside and outside the house. For walking outside the home, I live within a few miles of White Rock Lake and the Katy Trail in Uptown. For cats, I have plenty of toys they can chase or for me to play with them that I can bring with me if needed.

Availability
I work from home, so I have plenty of time for puppy/kitty play breaks, doggy walks, and outdoor time! I am also available on most weekends for pet sitting.
