Pet care experience
All pups deserve to be comfortable, happy, and healthy — especially yours. Since I can remember, I’ve had a special bond with dogs and have cared for them my entire life, both small and large, for friends, family, and now professionally. In May 2023, lost my dog of 11 years to cancer and served as her primary caretaker from the puppy stage through her cancer diagnosis and an 8-month-long treatment. I can’t have another dog of my own right now, and I’d love to have the opportunity to care for your dog as if they were my own. As a previous pet parent who used Rover myself, I understand the sitter-owner relationship and how important communication is while caring for your pup. You’ll have peace of mind while your pet is in my care.

Jessica was great with our pup over Christmas! We had to leave him for about a week or so and were much more comfortable leaving him with someone this communicative, responsive, and honestly just “normal”! She and her husband are super nice and were a great fit for our dog.
Jessica was amazing watching our high energy and attention-loving dog. She was super communicative the entire time and really accommodating for drop-off and pick-up. We felt great knowing our pup was in such good hands while we were away for the weekend!

There are parks and trails right outside of my apartment that are perfect for long walks and outdoor time. Our apartment building has an elevator for those dogs unable to climb stairs. I have dog bowls, beds, and treats available for your pup. If your dog barks/whines when being left alone for short periods of time, I may not be a good fit as I have apartment neighbors in which case, this may be disruptive.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, such as diet, or medication, or has certain requirements/needs based on their behavior and temperament. I'm happy to accommodate your dog! PLEASE NOTE: During the work week I have a couple of doggy day care clients which could overlap with a boarding. This isn’t always the case, but if you’re looking for 1:1 care guaranteed I may not be a good fit.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on walks along the Emerald Necklace trails in my neighborhood or down by the Charles River. We'll also have playtime with toys, treats, and chewies.

Availability
I work remotely at home full-time and have a flexible schedule during the week to take breaks for walks and playtime. I’m able to take your dog out multiple times a day and go on walks. I do not have a vehicle in Boston so I’m unable to provide pick-up/drop off.
