Cats adopted me at an early age, and I have been a cat person ever since. At the age of twenty I took full ownership of my sister's cat when he wasn't fitting in at his current dwelling. At twenty-one, I adopted a brother and sister whose mother belonged to a close friend. They will be fifteen this year. And about two and a half years ago, circumstance left two five day old grey tuxedo kittens at my door, and I took over their care. I was nervous about them surviving without their mom, but they are now thriving and will be three in April. One of my goals in the next few years is to foster kittens full-time and find them good forever homes.
