Pet care experience
Hi! I own 6 acres up in Wilseyville. I have raised all sorts of animals with my children’s help. I no longer have farm animals so now I am free to help others. I know how to respect someone’s home and do my best to leave a place as good or better than I left it. I will follow any directions you give me regarding your pets or home and have two teens to help with any tasks that might require extra help. I have raised rabbits, goats, sheep, pigs, dogs, cats, chicken, ducks, guinea hens, quail and turkeys. Willing to learn about care for animals not on this list. I am quiet and respectful of other’s space. I am vaccinated. I was a 911 dispatcher for 10 years…my feathers aren’t easily ruffled. Whatever it is- I can probably handle it.

I don’t have a secure yard for dogs (5 foot fencing) but it’s secure for goats or other animals not too hard on fencing that wouldn’t jump the 5ft. There is a small barn for shelter. I would be willing to take an indoor puppy or small dog to my home if you prefer but I am planning on mostly caring for pets in their own home.

A typical day
Walking and playing and snuggling as much or as little as the pet needs. If you have your pet on a schedule I am happy to keep your routine.

I homeschool my two teens (some charter school attendance). I also have an adult daughter on this app who can often be my backup, and I hers.
