Hi fellow dog lovers! I have been a dog owner for 20+ years, and been a foster parent with the Calgary Humane Society for the past 7. I have my own sweet, three-legged Rottweiler x Lab who is the light of my life. I adore dogs, and will treat your dog with as much love and attention as mine gets! I would describe my "dog lifestyle" as slightly structured but fun. I believe in daily exercise and good dog manners and would look forward to speaking with you about what your preferences are. I am easy going and have experience with dogs of all activity levels. I'm especially interested in doggie diets, as I hope to open a dog bakery one day... I have been known to whip up a batch of homemade doggie treats once in a while. I'm well versed if your pup has special needs/dietary restrictions/medication, or if your pup just needs potty breaks, socialization, and fresh air. We are open to house visits and walks after 5 pm and the occasional overnight visits. Can't wait to meet you!

We are in a condo, so quiet, crate trained dogs are preferred for overnight stays. I would like to know if your dog has any anxiety or aggression concerns and if they would get along with my own dog, who loves to play. (Arrangements for my own dog could also be made, if your pup would prefer a solo visit.)
A typical day
My own girl and I love to walk, hike, run (nothing past 5 km) and play with other dogs. We live right by a fenced dog park, and 5 minutes from the Bow River for beautiful river walks. We also like to go up to Nosehill park for day trips. For older dogs, dogs with mobility issues and inclement weather, I'm happy to host a quiet night in with lots of cuddles. Outdoor breaks can be short and sweet, all depending on your pup.
