Hi! I am Jessica! I am home FULL TIME! Many of my clients appreciate that I host only one family's dogs at a time.  About this sitter: Hi there! I am Jessica and I am a stay at home mom that loves pet hosting. Our family doesn't have any dogs right now and I genuinely miss having them. Hosting is a great way for us to have canine companionship, provide an important service for pet parents when they need it most, and just generally expand our family and have a great time with our visiting guest dogs! I have lots of experience with and respect for dogs; I grew up with a family dog who I adored and my mother started raising puppies for Canine Companions for Independence when I was in high school. I have always had dogs around. I truly respect and value dogs. They are amazing animals who have an intelligence and understanding for people that is wonderful to witness. My home has hardwoods throughout the downstairs and is completely dog friendly. My family and I open our home to visiting dogs the same way we do to any of our friends. We include them as part of the family, we give them attention like the special guest they are, we plan our days around their interests and needs and make sure they get tons of love. These pets may be four-legged but they are still our guests and it is our intention that any dog that comes to vacation with us will go home rested, well fed, and have wonderful stories to share with their families! Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover my entire life, but when it comes to one special, standout dog, I definitely have one. My family got our beautiful Feina when she was about 8 weeks old. She was the sweetest little black and brown Rottweiler puppy that you can imagine, like a tiny, fluffy bear cub. She was our fur baby and we learned the joys of owning a pet. The companionship and loyalty she gave us was wonderful. About my yard A large grassy backyard with room to play. Our yard is also very shaded so I often spend extended time outdoors with my family. My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable administering all types of oral and topical medications. If your dog requires injections I do charge $5 for each one.
