I am a k9 enthusiast. I have been a friend of dogs since I was a young child, my earliest memories involve never leaving my childhood yellow lab's side and later training my family's scotty dog to do show tricks. I am the go-to dog sitter for many of my friends who have dogs, as I am aware of different canine personality traits and can be empathetic to all sorts of dogs from all sorts of backgrounds. Most of the dogs I've dog sat in Portland are rescue dogs, coming with unique personality traits. Some more difficult than others, require patience, which I've got loads of. I've also assisted friends with behavior training for their pups. I am understanding that dogs are a part of the family and sometimes they just need a little extra love.
