I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. I currently don’t have any pets as it works better with my lifestyle, but I am always anxious to spend time with furry and fluffy animals! I personally am experienced with training puppies, and I successfully trained 2 golden doodle litter mates from 8 weeks old. Other pets are ok too! In fall 2020, I hatched 8 ducklings and watched them for a few days after, and I also watched a newborn bunny (from the day she was born) with her mom for 3 weeks in spring 2021. I also had a Russian tortoise when I was in high school and college. We love pets in all shapes and sizes. I have had dogs that required medication, dogs with strict feeding schedules, a cat that required insulin shots, and everything in between - nothing will scare me away (not even dog diapers or dogs in heat!), as long as your pets are at least mildly well-mannered :)
