Pet care experience
My entire life has always revolved around dogs and I have a variety of experience thanks to my dog sport background. I currently own three Belgian Malinois and an American Pitbull Terrier; all of which are highly trained and titled sport dogs. I am currently a member of a mondioring club, a flyball club, and a weight pull club and I am a weight pull judge. I am also in the process of becoming a member of a local obedience training club where I participate in Obedience and Scent Work. My dogs also currently compete in dock diving and have participated in frisbee league in the past. Jessica did an amazing job with my senior dog, Ava. As a dog owner, I always have a bit of anxiety when leaving my dog in the care of someone else. I had almost none when I left Jessica in charge while I went backpacking. I received updates on how she was doing, and pictures of her which I can never have enough of. Jessica took care of Ava like she was one of her own dogs, which made it possible for me to have an overnight away from home, confident that she was being cared for by a true dog person. Thank you so much for taking care of her Jessica, you're amazing.
Jessica was wonderful with our dog, Onyx. He is a Labraheeler mix, so he can be a handful for people who aren't accustomed to his energy or social needs. We were recommended to Jessica through a mutual contact, and we had the utmost faith in her while we were gone to watch him. She provided multiple pictures a day, and a daily recap of how things went. She is thorough, quick to respond, and very professional. We will not hesitate to use her the next time we are out of town.
Jessica was professional and communicated with me everyday sending pictures and videos. My dog had a wonderful time and received great care while we were out of town.
Jessica takes care of Niko like her own dog. Lots of lovies, no problem with giving medicine (pills), and lots of updates and photos while we were gone. Highly recommend!!

Dogs are typically left home alone during the work day and they will stay in an indoor kennel run or crate. Each kennel run is located inside my home and has water, food, a cot, and blankets for dogs to have plenty of room and comfort during the day. The kennel area is climate controlled and equipped with cameras that can be monitored from any location. I also have various enrichment items like licki-mats or kongs for dogs to enjoy. For the more anxious dogs, I can use a sound machine, calming spray, or calming treats to help them adjust to their stay more smoothly.

All visiting dogs must be up to date on all of their core vaccinations and all vet recommended preventative care (flea/tick, heartworm, etc.) Lepto, bordetella, and lyme vaccines are highly encouraged, but not required. If your dog has any special needs, medications, allergies, or behavioral concerns please let me know when you make the booking request. If your dog isn't good with cats or other dogs please let me know so I can accommodate your dog accordingly.
A typical day
Dogs can enjoy movie nights, sniffing around the fenced in yard, playing fetch, or just following me around as I check off things on my to do list. If the weather is nice, walks are available at a nearby park or in town for dogs that are capable of using a crate in my vehicle and have good leash manners. Dogs won't play with strange dogs here and my personal dogs will not interact with your dog in any way and are kept in a separate area of my home.

Pick up and drop off times between 4 pm and 8 pm are preferred, but other appointment times are available if needed. Meet and greets are not required, but they are available upon request. In person tours are limited to only the lower portion of my home, but more inclusive video tours are also available. I will accept last minute bookings, but booking in advance is always appreciated. If you are a repeat client and see that I'm not available for particular dates please feel free to reach out to see if I can accommodate your dog.
