Pets are my passion and joy!
Pet care experience
I have personally owned dogs, cats, and rats, over my entire life. Professionally, I have been a Pet Sitter for about 5 years now. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, a variety of cats including those with special needs, (insulin injections, diaper changes, liquid medication, etc.), and personally owned 11 pet rats over the years as well as 2 hamsters. I had a long-term client whose dog I walked 7 days a week, nearly 365 days a year who relied on me, and I'm proud to say I provided those little walks for him every night. I also drove him and other clients to the groomer and veterinarian, and brought them back home. I have been trusted by dozens of clients for overnight and long-term, in-home stays, some as long as 5 days! I look forward to meeting your furry friends!
Reviews
Jessica helped my fur babies feel comfortable while we were out of town. She sent lots of pictures and always responded to our texts immediately.
Jessica is so wonderful with my cat! Takes her time to give him attention and love so I greatly appreciate you!
I cannot say enough good things about Jessica and the care she provides! Jessica stayed at my home and cared for my three pets, two cats and a dog. She was so thoughtful towards the care of my pets, following all of my instructions and sending frequent updates throughout the booking. She was very respectful of my home and things and left the place in awesome shape. When I messaged her during the booking she would always reply back super fast! I am normally a bit of a nervous wreck leaving my pets behind but I didnt worry once while Jessica took care of my bunch while I was away. 100/10, would book again.
My dogs love when Jessica comes to stay with them! She always leaves our home nice and clean as well!

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
In my clients' homes, I am always vigilant about checking for locks, open gates or windows, stovetops left on, etc. I am always sure to keep up communication with my clients during visits, including regular text messages and pictures, and I will call if necessary to ask any urgent questions. I also make sure there is a list of numbers available: their preferred vet/emergency vet/neighbor's numbers/nearby trusted friend or family member, just in case.
Information Jessica K. would like to know about your pet
Where their medication is and how to administer it, where their leash/collar/harness are, location of food, any specific fears or aggression they may have, what their daily routine is. *******The Rover app lists "Large" dogs as up to 100 lbs, but I personally am only comfortable walking dogs up to about 70 pounds. I am absolutely willing to work with you if the dog is over that weight for a drop-in or house sit, my main concern is being unable to overpower the dog in an emergency, (e.g. encountering a threatening animal on a walk and needing to pull the dog away).********
A typical day
We will play with their favorite toys, or play their favorite games like fetch, go for a walk, or just hang out and get some belly rubs if that's what they want!
