It's been a few months since having Jessica at our home to pet sit our 10-year old pup and I really struggled with whether or not to leave a review on our experience. It was honestly a super stressful 10 days having Jessica watching our fur baby. She agreed to stay at our house over a duration of nine or so nights with pretty clear instructions of what to do and how to care for our dog. Our sweet girl is pretty easy to care for as she only needs to be fed 2x/day, watered, let outside for potty breaks and loved on in the evenings. Given her age and a bit of arthritis, we don't frequently take her out on big days anymore (eg. hikes, dog parks, etc.). For reference: our dog eats at specific times each morning and evening and needs to be let out morning, mid-day and evenings for potty breaks. This didn't quite happen on all of the days that Jessica was in charge of her care. There were also several days Jessica didn't even come to the house mid-day to let her out, some days that she was out much later than the dog's dinner time and even days she was out very late (early AM hours) in general not tending to the dog as agreed to during our initial meeting. The kicker was that Jessica decided to leave the house with my dog one of the evenings at 2:30am for a "sunrise hike" that happened to be a two-hour drive from my home....without permission! AND it was the 4th of July which is not a great time to have dogs out in general given the noise of fireworks ect. My family and I were out of the country at the time and did not see the alert that she'd left the house with the dog until we woke up the next morning. I was shocked, nervous, infuriated and more than concerned for the safety of my dog. I didn't hear from her all day aside from her telling me she drove to Frisco that morning. No follow-up to tell me if they arrived back home (luckily I have cameras in my home). All of this to say that while my dog ended up being fine at the end of Jessica's time at my home, I think it aged me 10 years over the stress it caused having her caring for my sweet girl. It was not a great experience for us and I wanted to be sure to share with others in case you're thinking of having her overnight with your fur babies.

Jessica was fabulous with our dog Mickey for a last minute trip we were taking. He has some medical conditions that require medication multiple times daily and Jessica was easily able to provide this. Additionally, he isn't good with other dogs but she made us feel comfortable while in her care. We got daily pictures and videos and Jessica took him on the best outings (with permission and within his activity level) during their time together, he looked so happy!! She was always fast to communicate with us and we will 1000% be using her for our future trips! Thank you!
