Jess and John are a dynamic duo when it comes to pet sitting duties, offering a two-for-one deal that's hard to beat. As a married couple, they have a unique bond that extends to their love of animals, especially cats.  They currently live with their well-mannered and gorgeous 6-year-old long-haired tortoiseshell cat, Lucy, who they adore. Being pet-parents has given them invaluable experience in providing individualized care for an animal. They understand the importance of being patient, attentive, and compassionate for a pet, and they take pride in extending this care to the pets of others. Jess, in particular, has taken a keen interest in cat health and behavior, reading multiple books on the subject, with her favorite author being Jackson Galaxy. She believes that understanding a cat's behavior is key to providing the best possible care.  Both Jess and John grew up with pets, with Jess having experience with both cats and dogs and John having experience with dogs. Jess's childhood cats lived to be an impressive 19 years old, a testament to the love and care she provided them. They've also had extensive experience caring for their own pets as adults, and have partnered to care for multiple pets of friends and family over the years.  In addition to their personal experience, Jess volunteered at her local animal shelter, PAWs, for over 3 years. During her time there, she cared for 20+ cats at a time, providing them with food, water, and love while they waited for their forever homes. This experience has given her a unique perspective on the different personalities and needs of cats, and has made her even more passionate about animal care.  When it comes to cat-sitting, Jess and John prioritize the happiness and well-being of the cats they care for. They understand that each cat is unique and has their own specific needs, and they take the time to get to know each cat and their personality. Jess and John were great! We couldn't have asked for a better couple to watch our cats. They were very communicative with their visit updates and took a ton of pictures. They definitely made us feel better about leaving and we will use them again!
Jess and John did an incredible job taking care of our cat! They did an excellent job making sure they were aware of everything to take care of our cat before we left. While we were away it was so wonderful to receive photo updates of our cat and know she was in such great care. It made our trip so much better knowing our cat was in great hands! Overall, the more information we have about a cat ahead of time, the better we can provide individualized care and make sure the cat is happy and healthy while their owners are away.

These activities include feeding, providing fresh water, administering medication if needed, and litter box cleaning. We also offer playtime and exercise sessions, which could include playing with toys, going for walks, or playing tag (if that's your pet's favorite game like our cat Lucy!). We understand the importance of mental stimulation for pets, so we may also offer puzzle toys or other interactive games. Whenever possible, both Jess and John will be present at every visit to ensure that the pets get the attention and care they need.
