Pet care experience
I’ve had pets (dogs, cats, lizards) my whole life. As an adult I learned every aspect of taking care of them on my own. Vet visits, making dog treats, walks, baths, you name it especially with dogs and I’ve been there.

We (the whole family including the pups) were all very happy to have Jessica dog/house sit while we were gone for 5 days. She took them for regular long walks, played with them in the backyard, had her son come over to help wear them out (after asking permission first so that there would not be any surprises), and even allowed them to sleep on the bed with her! I received multiple pictures of them while I was away and even a video of them playing outside. One of the best photos was a picture of them completely exhausted one evening since they played hard all day and were ready for a long night's sleep. To fully exercise a Golden Puppy (7-8 months old) so that it is not even interested in chewing up your stuff, is quite a feat! I would recommend Jessica for anyone who wants to have a dog sitter that will ensure that their pups are treated well and likes to see regular updates via photo or video. She cleaned up the house so that when we returned home everything was nice and neat...even went so far as to wash/dry the sheets and put them back on the bed so that the spare room would be ready at a moment's notice!
To whom it may concern: I have witnessed many different types of pet owners. I’ve seen abuse, neglect, and malnourishment. I have also seen owners who treat their animals like family, whose dogs are well trained, well natured, and well mannered. Jessica is someone who not only has a family member of a dog. He is well trained, natured, and mannered. Jessica took a two year old golden retriever/lab mix in for a week. I only had him for a week before leaving him with her. When I got him back he knew sit, stay out of the kitchen, and to not enter doorways until I do first. Unfortunately, my dog destroyed a couple items that I had to replace. I would rate her a 10/10.

I have a fenced yard, extra leashes for walks, extra kennel if needed, separate pets at meal time and have a 12 yr old who loves to love every animal. At your home I will follow what instructions are given to me. Most recent sitting was for two large dogs in their home. They have beds in their owners room but seemed so nervous and missing the owner that when they both jumped on the guest bed when I went to bed I let sleep there. Best toe warmers! I’ll care as if they are my own!

I like to know their personality from the owners perspective, this is a good baseline to know if the dog is nervous. A dog that is said to be super friendly and loving that all of a sudden doesn’t want touched can be a sign they need space or to be able to come to you instead of you to them. I like to know medical conditions. How much they eat and when. Depending on what the task is if overnight where they like to sleep. Do they chase cats or squirrels. Do they like kids (my son can be elsewhere but loves animals so asks to come if able). Do they get along with other animals. What is their level of training? Some dogs when walked by not the owner they try to get away with bad behavior. I never want to contribute to that.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park or just bring them along for a coffee run if they like car rides. We go on walks daily. If they like toys my son loves to play and throw a ball endlessly as he giggles with joy.

Availability
As of now I am home doing side gigs. As my child transitions into junior high it is just myself and my dog all day. Evenings you’ll find myself husband and son hanging out. Our dog loves to adventure in my truck.
