Dogs don't deserve to be home alone
Pet care experience
I love caring for pets like they're children. I've raised, trained, and boarded dogs for the majority of my life; and some of my closest friends are vets! I'll always keep you updated with photos and videos of your pet during my care. And I'm happy to handle any of your pet's high maintenance requests. Medications on time? Paw massages? Video calls before bed? No problem! I live in a quiet gated apartment with lots of grassy areas right outside of my door. There's also a big park just a 10 minute walk away. I have a water filter and I'll make sure that your pet gets totally fresh filtered water every few hours. I make sure to clean your pet's food bowl right after they're done and I clean the water bowl twice a day in very hot water with Biokleen dish soap (the served water temp is cool though of course). I also have a shower water filter and a full tub. I will offer your pet a free bath and complete blow-dry (or towel dry if they don't like the blow dryer) upon your pet arriving at my place. Please provide your pet's bathing products if you want the bath. If you do not want the bath, please make sure that your pet had a bath beforehand. I do a gentle paw cleaning before bed and when necessary, after coming back inside. This helps me keep my home free of fleas and any other pests to keep us all healthy. Kennels are totally optional and honestly, I prefer not to use them. Your pets will always be kept close and never home alone. If I have to step out, my pet-loving husband or neighbors will supervise and care for your pet(s) in my home.
Reviews
Amazing care given! She even cooked chicken for him! He was part of the family for sure! Above and beyond loving on our dog. Highly recommended!

Took excellent care of my pupper. Lots care was put into meal times, play time and when he was ready for bed. Regular updates and photos for me to check in. 10/10 would recommend
Jessica and Jorel took the very best care of Piper. She was happy, healthy and spoiled when we returned. You could not find a nicer and more competent couple to care for your fur babies while away! Thank you both for loving Piper as your own!

I currently do not have any pets or children; and I only board one client's pet(s) at a time. I live with just my husband and he is also a pet lover. We have raised dogs together and recently moved to WA. Under my care, your pet will be walked, talked to, cuddled, fed, played with, provided fresh filtered water throughout the day, and spoiled with love. We do not smoke and we keep our place very clean with natural cleaning products and frequent vacuuming. Your pets health, happiness, and safety are my biggest priorities.

Information Jessica J. would like to know about your pet
What are your pet's health needs and concerns? How can I support your pet's training? I want to make sure that your pet doesn't feel abandoned by having to be boarded. I make sure to work with pet parents so that your pets feel at home in my home. Packing your pet's bed that has been used, familiar blanket, toys, and even a sweater that has been worn by you is encouraged to make your pet feel comforted.
A typical day
I'm an early bird and the first thing I love doing is going out for fresh air. I'll take your pet outside for a morning walk (15~30 minutes depending on your dog's age/needs), come back inside for cuddles and breakfast, then another short after-meal "bathroom break" outside (5~10min). I find that dogs often need to go again after a meal. Then I play some relaxing music or a movie so your pet can rest and digest. In the afternoon, we'll play with toys together and snuggle outside on my balcony and watch the birds. Then we'll go to a nearby park and explore new sights and scents for an hour or so. (I don't ever go to dog parks due to the risk of violence.) We'll come back home to warm up and get dinner ready. After dinner, we'll go for a post-meal stroll (my apartment is gated) then get ready for bed with a gentle paw cleaning and lots of cuddles.

I work from home, and I only work for a few hours a day. During my work hours, I will check up on your pet every hour and have them close by at all times. Even during my work hours, I'll be sure to take your pet out for potty breaks at least every 3 hours.
