Pet care experience
I am a dedicated and compassionate pet care professional with over 20 years experience in the Veterinary Hospital environment. I am extremely adept in pet handling, socializing and care. I have experience caring for many types of pets including goats, sheep and chickens. I would be happy to provide pet care in the Wappingers Falls, Beacon, Fishkill and Cold Spring areas. I share my home with my husband, our two daughters (7 and 4), two small breed senior dogs, Bitsy, and Ike, one medium sized mix breed youngster, Bowie, three cats, Olive, Goat and Mr. Fuzzball, and two rats, Dandelion and Clover. (Our 7 year old daughter's newest addition!) For potential boarders and daily doggy day care: We own our home in a pet friendly neighborhood with access to Stony Kill hiking trails. Your dog is welcome to sleep on our bed, lounge on our furniture or sleep in a crate if that makes her/him more comfortable. Our furry family members have no restrictions in our home! I am able to administer oral and/or injectable medications as well as special diets if needed. I would love to provide a home away from home for your dog and leave you confident that your furry family member will be safe, happy and loved while you are away. For drop in visits and walks: I am available mid-day weekdays. I would be happy to take your dog(s) on a 30 minute walk, hike, play ball in your yard or just sit and give some mid-day belly rubs and affection. I am also happy to drop in to visit your cat(s) for some mid-day feline pampering! If needed, I am able to bring your pet(s) to their routine veterinary visit! I adore all animals and the endless loyalty and affection they give us.

It was really wonderful to see our pup Lola look so satisfied with her day after staying with Jessica. She sent us updates and really took her in as part of her family, which is what we all want for our furry friends! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for any type of pet care.
We recently boarded our 2 year old Black Lab mix with Jessica for one night. We could not be happier with the experience. Jessica and her lovely family and pets greeted us warmly and made Sasha feel instantly at home. Jessica even sent a picture less than an hour after Sasha arrived there, to assure us that she was happy and safe. Jessica communicated several more times to let us know how Sasha was doing. We knew that our beloved dog was in kind and compassionate hands and we will absolutely be boarding Sasha with Jessica again in the future.
Jessica is an angel. Not only did she very clearly love my puppy Alice and appreciate her cuteness (who doesn’t love being told their puppy is adorable?!), Jessica’s thoroughness and attentiveness to my pup’s health, happiness and proper development made me rest easy knowing Alice was in very capable hands when I couldn’t be with her. Jessica will be our first call any time we need someone to watch Alice.
So, a brief word on Sweet Petunia Pet Care. I have a chihuahua. He is an epileptic. He requires medication twice a day. He can be naughty and sometimes won’t eat “just because”. He lives in a house with all cats. That being said, we have found OUR pet care expert. I had never left him anywhere but my folks home. When we left Johnny in Jessica Ippolito-Soi’s and her family’s hands he had an amazing time. He ate every day, took his meds, and had wonderful humans and animals to interact with. The photo updates made me tear up. I never ONCE worried about my little guy while away. When we picked him up, he didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much! This is the BEST choice for a pet-sitter who will take pets into their home. Johnny loved it all, but especially the little girls who played with him constantly!
