Pet care experience
In high school, I was a volunteer “cat cuddler” at the Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, though my affection for animals and nature is not unilaterally directed toward cats. I grew up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love their quirky personalities. I am a big hiker and runner, so doggy field trips to local hiking trails on weekends is my favorite form of quality time. ? I am a full-time Wetland Specialist at a local engineering company in Tualatin but would love to dog and house-sit before/after work and on weekends. Weekday care would probably be ideal for low-maintenance dogs and dogs that have access to a backyard so they can let themselves out to use the restroom while I am at work.

Jess is an ideal pet sitter! She loves animals and is really excited to have pets of her own someday. She is really active and happy to go on walks or take your dogs on adventures (if that’s something you want). She can sleep over with your pet and is a wonderful house sitter- keeping things clean and neat. She is organized, responsible, calm, personable and professional and can provide whatever type of care your animal needs and manage any situations that come up to the best of her ability. I would absolutely have Jess pet sit for me again!!

A typical day
In the past, I have taken the dogs that I watched you Magness Tree Farm and Champoeg State Park for fun walks on the weekends, but depending on the fitness/energy level of the dog and the owner’s permission, I would love to take them on longer hikes in the Gorge or Mt. Hood Area! :)
