Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs and cats of many kinds, even dogs with special needs. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their pets for extended periods of time. Through my experience, I’ve learned how to keep myself and pets safe while making sure they’re getting their energy out and having fun.

Jessica did a great job with my very lonely cat. She was a great communicator and noticed something she felt was out of the ordinary and said something about it. Luckily it was not an issue, but I was impressed with how she addressed it and was so attentive. I look forward to Jessica taking great care of my kiddo again!

When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I believe the most important thing is gaining the pet’s trust. I will make sure the pet is safe by supervising the pet and making sure there is nothing that could be harmful to the pet. I will also follow instructions provided by the client to be sure that the pet is receiving everything they need.

I like to know the temperament of the pet, so I can be thinking about activities they might enjoy. I also like to know information about how they do with other people, pets, and kids, just so I can be on the look out if we need to keep our distance. Any special needs or allergies are great to know as well.
A typical day
It depends on the pet, but I think it’s important to stimulate pets mentally and physically. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for a walk, running through commands they know, or treat puzzles, I’ll make sure that your pet has fun. I love to walk by the river or near the Gathering Place.

I am currently a law student, so I have large gaps of time between classes and before and after classes that allow me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine.
