Pet care experience
Having a dog myself, I have a strong understanding of an individual dog’s daily needs and demands. I also have experience in dog and cat sitting for friends and neighbours and understand the differences in a dogs behaviour and characteristics. I will always make sure you’re dog is well looked and stimulated under my care. Being a pet carer is my current full time employment, so my diary can differ from week to week. When I have no bookings I am usually walking around the waterfront or the parks with my own dog Bowie. Being a dog owner, I recognise that safety is a number one priority. Therefore it is important for me to know if your dog has particular characteristics that mean they do not interact well with other dogs, people or animals so we can keep everyone safe or if your pooch has any illnesses/medication etc. My own dog has daily medication for epilepsy and so I am capable of administering tablets. In fact I have become a super sleuth in disguising medication in food and treats, if like my own, your dog is a renowned tablet dodger.
Reviews
Jess was lovely, Chester had a great time with her and I received nice pictures and updates. I would recommend Jess and would definitely ask her to look after Chester again!
We booked Jess for regular walks with our reactive dog Foxy, and she's been beyond amazing! She always updates us with pictures and videos, and let us know how every walk went. She's super patient when Foxy is being a slowpoke (as she's an old dog and has days where she just wants to be lazy), and she deals with her reactivity really well. Jess has been really accommodating and Foxy has taken to her very quickly, which is quite unusual for Foxy (she can be a bit of a grump). 100% will be continuing to book walks with Jess! X
What can we say about Jess? Reliable, friendly, courteous, with attention to detail. Jess sends updates and photos everyday. Our dog was super chilled when we got back and really happy. We’ll definitely go back to Jess to look after our JRT. I’d add more stars if I could. Highly recommended!
Jessica looked after our dog Dexter yesterday. Dex has separation issues and It was the first time we had left him with a stranger. He loved her and she was really chilled out and calm which is what he likes. She sent us photos and let us know how he was so we were not worried. Absolutely will book Jessica again to care for our needy doggo!!!

Information Jessica H. would like to know about your pet
Ideally we would arrange a meet and greet to help both parties decide if I am the right fit for your pet and vice versa. Generally, it is important for me to know if your pet has any medical conditions, medicine, ailments etc. that will affect your pet during our time together. I need to know if your dog can be left alone and if so, for how long as I may need to pop home to see to my own dog throughout the day. Any triggers or anxieties that your pet may have is important for me to know about. I want to insure your pet is well looked after in my care and is not traumatised by your absence. In hand with triggers, it is important to know what animals/ breeds your pet get on well with… or not so well with. What are their social skills like? Do they prefer some dogs to others? Is any interaction off limits?
A typical day
I will provide your animals with enough mental and physical stimulation throughout the day, as well as giving them their own space for some down time. Depending on your dogs’ social skills, most days will be spent walking around the parks and other nearby green areas on offer. And of course, plenty of cuddles and treats.
