Hello, my name is Jessica and I have a purpose on this earth to love as many animals as I can. I have always been drawn to animals since I was very young. Growing up we had a lot of animals and lived in the country. Strays would end up at our house or left with us. We always took them in and nobody ever got turned away. Bathing them, clipping their nails or even getting them vet care was like a hobby to me. After high school I learned how to groom dogs and then later on cats. I am very good with nervous and even “difficult” dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. I wouldn’t call it training but I’m good at reading body language so I can figure out what makes each individual dog feel safe and as happy as they can be. I like to create a bond with each animal I care for so they feel like they are in the home of extended family.

Jessica and Jonathan are absolutely wonderful. They are on time, attentive with frequent communications, flexible, and more importantly, they are truly genuine, kind, with big hearts and lots of love. Charlie was completely spoiled the last few days under their care. We would not hesitate to have them watch him again!
Jessica was amazing with my fur baby. I was so worried cause he’s only a 5lbs pomchi. But she sent me videos and photos that he was happy and comfortable there and that made me feel at ease. I will definitely be booking him with her again!
Jessica and Jonathan LOVE animals. They take fabulous care of dogs, cats, birds, etc. Everyone misses them when they moved from the Denver metro area because they took such wonderful care of their fur babies. You can’t go wrong hiring them and your pets will have a new best “human” friend.
We really enjoyed Campfire, Jess and Jonathan. They have been part of our community and have taken excellent care Of our fur babies without charging the mind boggling rates we have to pay now with them gone. We miss our groomers and our friends and wish them nothing but love and luck and good clients that will see the gold in them and become friends. We miss you, Jess, Jonathan and the whole fam. I live in a home with my husband and three children ages 6, 10, and 12. They have been heavily exposed to animals and they are very accustomed to respecting animals and their boundaries. We have 6 dogs of our own. 4 of them are smaller but 2 of them are huskies and they are generally in a cabin up the hill from the house connected to a very large yard that I can take rowdier dogs or dogs that need extra exercise and play time. We have a large mud room in our house with a dog door and a small yard with a small fence that will accommodate small and calm large dogs. Pups are are also welcome to hang out inside with us as well. Our home is full of love and we want to make leaving your dog with someone else feel reassuring and not stressful. There is a boarding facility on the property we live on but it is not associated with these services.

A typical day
We live on a farm and our kids catch the school bus in steamboat. We are home most of the day if not all day. We tend to plan activities for any dogs based on what they seem to be interested in. Running outside, playing inside, cuddling, finding the coziest hiding spot and getting lots of pets, playing with other dogs or meeting different animals, car rides, playing with my kids or we can also accommodate dogs who do not prefer kids. We are a very active and full of love.

Availability
I am currently boarding 7 days a week. Your dog will get at least four long play times during the day with any needed potty breaks in between. I work from home so we are here most of the time if not all day. We don’t mind updating or texting. We can send photos and even videos of play time and we are more than willing to provide special accommodations. Every dog is different and we never expect them to be anything less than exactly how they are.
