More than one person has told me that if they believed in reincarnation they'd want to come back as my dog :) I have a six year old Pug/Min Pin/Terrier mix (aka Mutt) rescue who, I admit, has it pretty good. I've been the primary dog sitter for the same family for four years, and I was a volunteer dog walker at the Spartanburg Humane Society for three years. Most recently I dog sat for my brother's two dogs for five weeks. I regularly babysit for a family with two dogs, and I think the dogs are as happy about my visits as the children are. I work from home and take my dog, as well as any dogs in my care, on regular walks throughout the day. While I don't have any specific veterinary medicine training, my cousin is a vet tech nearby and is always just a phone call away.
