Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. My mother is a passionate animal lover and we were always taking in animals of all kinds who needed fostering or who were hurt and needed extra care. This love for nurturing was passed down to me and I cannot ever remember a time where I did not have an animal around in some capacity. I have not only cared for my own pets but have been trusted and welcomed into the home of others to do the same. It is not a responsibility I take lightly and I always do my best to ensure I provide the top level of care for your pet so that you can relax while away knowing they are in good hands. I have experience in caring for elderly pets and those with special needs and have no problem administering medication. I am also comfortable with giving insulin shots.

Jessica did a great job watching our cat for a weekend. She sent us lots of photos and updates and was able to administer all her medicine as needed. Our cat was happy when we came home and we are sure they had a great time together. Jessica also sent us an amazing drawing of our cat. We will certainly ask her to stay with our cat again in the future!

We used Jessica as a pet sitter for our dog and cat during a two week vacation. She was attentive and caring with them, and left our home in great shape as well. She was also easy to communicate with and was always happy to update us. Highly recommend!!
Jessica stayed with my dog over March break 2024 while we travelled. Our dog Matty had back surgery last year and I wanted someone who I could trust to ensure she was well cared for and monitored. Jessica was excellent - she took great care of Matty, walking her several times a day, and giving her lots of attention. Matty isn't the cuddliest dog, but she adored Jess, and that was evident by the many photos of the two of them I received while on my trip. She was also an excellent houseguest: our home was neat, clean, and as we left it on our return. She has since cared for many other mutual friends' dogs and is excellent with them all. Jess is a dog lover to her core and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. My only regret is that she won't be here to watch Matty again.

Whether that means putting them in their crate during certain times, letting them sleep in the bed, and giving them specific treats or medications. Every dog and owners relationship and routines are unique and I will ensure we communicate to make sure there is as little disruption as possible in their day to day routine while they are in my care.
