My name is Jessica and I am a 33 year old woman that has two 15lb terrier mixes and 3 blue tongue skink lizards as her kids. There hasn’t been a day that has gone by in my life that I haven’t had an animal companion to share it with and I wouldn’t want it any other way. For this, I feel truly blessed. Animals (fur and furless) are truly such a gift. I have a long history of working experience with a variety of different animals. I have worked as a pet sitter for a professional pet sitting business outside of the area for two years, as a pet care specialist in pet stores for four years, as a veterinary technician in a reputable animal hospital for four years, and have a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology. I am very comfortable and experienced with a variety of different birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, fish, and a wide variety of reptiles. I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. Senior dogs are my FAVORITE. My veterinary background gives me a deeper understanding of what a happy, healthy pet looks like and allows me to be able to keep a very close eye on your baby while you are away. I can easily administer oral or injection medications to your pet as needed. I live a very active lifestyle and get out on walks, hikes, and jogs on a regular basis with my two pups and can do the same for yours. I own my home and it is in a very safe and peaceful neighborhood in Northwest Reno that has a big secure, fenced yard and is walking distance to San Rafael Park. There are endless trails that I have access to walk your pup(s) on right outside my doorstep. My home has dog doors that lead out into the backyard that your pet companion will have access to 24/7 other than at night when we are all sleeping. Your pup(s) will be treated as one of our own and will be kept inside at night and be able to sleep wherever is comfortable for them. It is VERY important to me that I am a good fit as a caretaker to your pet(s) and I want to do everything I can to put your mind at ease while you are away. I've known Jess for 10 years and there is no one who I would trust more with my dog. Jess is kind, smart, responsible, and trustworthy, and has two dogs of her own that she treats better than some people treat their children. Jess used to work at a vet so she's very knowledgeable and careful with her dogs' health and safety, and, as a genuine animal lover, I'm sure she would use the same care with other's dogs as well.

Jessica is the most caring and compassionate person I have ever met. This companion she has shines when it comes to animals . She loves each and every one of them as if they where her own. She is a very calm person which gives her a lot of patients when it comes to unexpected surprises . This is good for any pet because her calmness keeps pets calm so they do not react to anxiety. She is sensitive so this allows her to recognizes your pets needs and respond. The years of experience that she has with her animals and other peoples allows her to be able to handle pets with extra needs.She is very Reliable which would make everyones day easier. The most important think that Jessica has is her genuine love for animals. Which shows in every animals she come in contact with.

We will go on walks around my peaceful neighborhood, in the multiple parks that are walking distance, and on the multitude of trails in the hills around my home. I have a nice big backyard with grass that is great for ball and toy chasing if that is something your pet companion enjoys.
