Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was 14. Growing up, I jumped at every opportunity to dog walk and dog sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience walking, feeding, and bathing small to medium and large sized dogs. I have experience caring for up to three dogs at the same time and understand the need to ensure they get along. Throughout my high school and college years, I volunteered regularly at an animal shelter in my home town where I made sure the needs of pets were met. I played with and gave them as much love and snuggles as possible! I even participated in repainting the interior of the shelter to make it look fun and inviting with murals.

It would be important for me to know the general energy level of the dog to better determine the areas they would enjoy during a walk. It would also be helpful to know if the gets along with other dogs.
A typical day
I am based out of the Financial District in NYC, so I have great access to the Seaport area along the East River and also to Battery Park. There is a small dog park near me that I would be happy to take a client's dog to --but only if the client approves this and is okay with their dog playing with other dogs.

I permanently work from home with a very flexible 9AM - 6PM ET schedule. I have full availability for morning walks on weekdays and can also fit walks in during the afternoons.
