Pet care experience
I am currently a Veterinary Reveptionist at the West Chelsea Veterinary Animal Hospital. I have training in Veterinary Assistance as well. I have been working in the veterinary field for about 4 years now and have worked with clients from my previous & current job. I️ have two cats in which i live with and two pit bulls that i regularly care for. I️ can easily understand the responsibility that comes with having animals around the house. I am educated on what to and what not to do while walking animals. For example, how to avoid/stop a violent confrontation with another animal, various types of harnesses that each type of dog would require, and healthy snacks to bring along any walks. My minimim time for walking each dog would be 30 minites so that your animal can have a sufficient amount of time to really exercise those legs! Aside from dog walking I️ am also open to any pet/house sitting that would be needed from me if asked.

Jessica is amazing!!!! She has been taking care of my 2 cats for the past 4 years. She is an astounding caregiver and very responsible. I don’t have to worry when I leave for holidays because I am constantly being updated with pictures and wellness checks. Jessica has a love for animals like no other and it comforts me in so many ways whenever my cats are in her care. 10/10 recommend her for any pet sitting/walking you may need!
Jessica is amazing, lovable, and trustworthy when it comes to watching my dog! She is the first person I call whenever I am going out of town and need a helping hand. She pays attention to every detail and makes sure all of my dogs needs are taken care of. She makes sure to spend plenty of time with my fur baby so he doesn’t feel lonely. She makes sure to take him to the dog park everyday so he doesn’t get bored and she even takes him to his vet appointments for me if needed. Jessica is an animal lover and is very gentle and caring when it comes to animals especially my dog. I wouldn’t want anybody else to watch my dog but her!
Jessica took care of my cat when I went on vacation. I met her through a mutual friend. She was super nice, and my cat took to her right away so that made me feel comfortable to entrust my cat to her. She is very dependable, and reliable. I will recommend her to anyone.
Jessica is so trust worthy and reliable. I️ have asked her to house sit my home in the upperwest about three times since I️ go on work related trips quite frequently and each time I️ come back to my home looking even better than I️ had left it. I️ ‘ve never asked her to clean my house EVER yet she does so out of the kindness of her heart and that is something I️ GREATLY appreciate about her. Along with that she was also pet sitting my cat Tibby and now even Tibby misses her!!!

I️ only have two cats at my house who are both fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, & who visit the vet frequently for nail trims. Both of my cats are extremely well behaved just a tad bit shy. Because I️ have training in Veterinary Assistance I️ know what protocols to take if your pet is ever injured in my care or becomes sick. I️ work at the West Chelsea Veterinary in the city and will take your pet there of charge for you if your per ever needs to be brought to a veterinarian asap.

I️ do not have any breed preferences as I️ adore any and all shapes and sizes of animals. However I️ would just like to know if your dog has any allergic reactions to any materials/foods because sometimes I️ like to bring a little toy or snack with me during a walk.
A typical day
There is a huge park near my neighborhood named “Inwood Park”. There, there are many open fields in which your dog and I️ would be able to play freely without interruptions. There is also a really big dog park there where (with the owners permission) I️ can take your dog to play with other dogs!

I️ am working full time however I️ usually work in the morning until about 4pm. Since I️ live in the bronx and travel to the city for work - travelling is not an issue for me! I️ have no problem travelling to & from any location before and/or after work.
