Pet care experience
I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, small animals, and fish in my whole life. I am a huge animal lover and have been raising animals since I was a little girl. I only have cats in my home right now because I lost 3 dogs in the past 3 years due to age/cancer, one German Shepherd and 2 Golden Retrievers. But that means I can host up to 3 dogs here. I have experience in puppy training, crate training, senior care, bathing and basic grooming, giving meds to pets, feeding raw or kibble and all sizes and types of dogs are welcome!! I also have experience in working at a dog kennel.

This was the first time leaving my dog for more than a night. I knew right away he was comfortable with Jessica and I was comforted by the fact that he would not be crated at night (he is the biggest baby and loves cuddles in bed) Jessica updated me on how he was doing throughout my trip with pictures and videos. It was basically a vacation for him there with all the attention and play time he got! When he came home he was exhausted and went straight to the bed 😂 Thank you so much for taking such great care of Beau. Will definitely be using your services again in the future! ♥️
Jessica is a wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of my senior guy! Right off the bat when I had an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with my boy. During my time away Jessica sent me photos and a video of my boy having a good roll around in the grass. 😊 I look forward to booking Jessica again in the future!! Thanks for doing such a great job ❤️

I will need to know some basic information, like whether it is crate trained, or if it can be left alone for an hour or two (unlikely to happen), if they like cats (I am not accepting dogs that are cat aggressive), any tricks or training cues or equipment you might have used for your dog, any allergies, any medications needed, any health issues that may be important etc etc. My house is completely dog friendly, they will be allowed on furniture and will sleep with me if they prefer. Dogs will not have access to cat's room. I also provide my home for those dogs who are in heat or unneutered male.

I will need to know behaviour quirks about each dog and health conditions that I will have to keep an eye out for. I also will want to know their routine and schedules so I can follow along as closely as possible. I will need to know if it is crate trained or can be left home alone for a few hours if something ever comes up (not very often), and how they will react with cats. I would also like to know anything that you think I should know. Nothing is too much.
A typical day
I have a big backyard so I will make sure they have lots of playtime in the backyard and stimulate them mentally and physically. I can also go on short walks on the trails or in the forest down by the end of the street and allow them to have a good sniff around and enjoy their nature walks. I also cuddle and give lots of attention to them, and often they are happy to be here.

I don't work currently so I am home full time, and I live with my mum, who will also help out if necessary (ie. if dog cannot be left alone at any time, there are two of us so we will take care and make sure dog is not left alone at no point of their stay). I have time every day to exercise the dog in the backyard or take for short walks. I am also very close to a dog park in West Brant (Dogford Park) and can take them there for a good run with their friends.
