Pet care experience
We have our own dog, Akira who is a husky who loves walkies and play time. We think dogs are very much a part of the family and we love getting out and about exploring with her. We understand each dog has their own personality and traits and need attention in all different ways. We have both grown up with dogs and cats our whole lives and regularly look after friends dogs with our own.

Jessica and Craig are amazing! Loki spent a week 'on holiday' with them whilst we went away. Loki was well looked after and he seemed to have a lot of fun. It was his first time overnight without us, and Jess made sure he was reassured, and after a day or so he was more chilled and into the new rhythm. He was pampered and enjoyed spending time playing with their dog, Akira, going on lots of walks and having cuddles on the sofa at night. The photo updates were lovely. When we picked him up he was happy still wanted to play whilst we were there chatting, so it must have been good!!
Jess and Craig were brilliant with my German Shepherd, Hudson. He spent 6 days with them over a couple of weeks and it got to the stage when I was packing his bag to leave our house in the morning he was bouncing around as he knew where he was going! When we got there he would run in and I barely got a glance. They really make the effort to make sure your dog is settled and happy. He'll definitely be going back again. :-)

We have a large enclosed garden and a female husky for a friend during their stay. We have multiple areas of the house which can be closed off should they want to be alone or just sleep on the sofa after a good walk.

Please let me know if any special needs or behaviour traits to watch out for. Will need to be able to get on with other dogs and not be overly dominant.
A typical day
We love to give them attention they need as well as space when required. Both physical and mental play to stimulate and well as a very quiet household to allow them to relax. There are many walks in the village which are quiet and full of smells!

We can be very flexible as are home most of the time. We spend many weekends on big walks with Akira so always happy to have another dog join the adventure.
