I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—growing up, our home was always full of pets, from playful dogs to curious cats. That love for animals has stayed with me into adulthood. In the past, I cared for several cats of my own, including one special kitten I rescued and nursed back to health by syringe-feeding him when he was too weak to eat on his own. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and how to provide gentle, attentive care to pets in all stages.

Pets in my care will be treated like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where they can safely explore and play—it’s currently dirt as we’re in a new build, but it’s spacious and secure for outdoor time. Inside, I’m in the process of getting couch covers so pets can relax and lounge comfortably with us. I’m also happy to take dogs on walks as needed to help them burn off energy and stay active. If your pet needs a quiet space or crate time, I have a separate room where they can be kenneled safely and calmly.

Before sitting someone’s pet, it’s important for me to know a few key things to ensure their comfort and safety. I always ask about their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications they might have. I also want to know how they behave around other pets and people, if they have any fears or triggers (like loud noises or being left alone), and what their favorite activities or toys are. It’s helpful to know their potty habits, crate training status, and any commands they know. Most of all, I want to understand what makes them feel safe and loved so I can care for them just like you would!
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love to make sure they have a fun and enriching time! Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, we’ll play games like fetch, tug-of-war, or chase in my large fenced backyard. For pets who enjoy the outdoors, I’ll take them on walks around the neighborhood or let them safely explore and sniff to their heart’s content. Inside, they can lounge with us on the couch (I use pet-friendly covers), enjoy some cuddle time, or play with toys.

Availability
As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am almost always available to care for your pets. I’m home throughout the day, which means your furry family members will get plenty of attention and company. I also have two sweet boys—ages 9 and 2—who are gentle, and love animals just as much as I do. Pets in my care become part of our little family, and they’re never short on affection, playtime, or cuddles.
