Pet care experience
I first began pet sitting and dog walking around four years ago. For three years I had been taking care of my neighbors' pets, including dogs and cats. This past year I actually worked for a company for pet sitting! This included multiple appointments throughout the day of thirty-minute stays and walks. This makes me very familiar with this type of job already! For pet sitting I would go to the house in the morning, middle of the day, and in the evening. Therefore, I would feed them and give them their medication if needed. For dog walking I would go at the requested time of the client and take their dog on a nice thirty-minute walk. I have a ton of experience to offer!

Jessica did a great job. She showed up on time and stayed the appropriate amount of time. The dogs were happy and healthy!
My cat is very shy around strangers but Jessica seems to have the magic touch. She was able to approach her to take a picture and another day Carmen the cat was sleeping by the door to her room; not crouching in a storage area watching warily. I will contact Jessica later to get my key and get a tip for her. Highly recommend!
Jessica did a great job taking care of our cats, including giving multiple medications. We would happily rebook with her.

I have two dogs of my own, a German Shepard and a rescue mutt. I always make sure to do my part in taking care of them and give them as much love as I can! For a client, I make sure to provide extra care and love because even if it is just a short time taking care of them I want to be able to bond with them and make them feel well cared for!

I would like to know any important information about your pet before the visit. This would include if your dog has special needs or traits that should be addressed. Also, if I will need to give them any medication while they are in my care. It would be greatly appreciated to be notified if the pet has any dislikes. For example, if a small dog does not like to be picked up or if they have a spot where they do not like being pet. Especially for cats because most cats I have met do not like to be pet on the stomach.
A typical day
A typical day for dog walking would be taking the dog on a nice and long walk! Before we set off on the walk, I always make sure to greet them and pet them a lot! After the walk, I will typically give them a treat, if the owner has them, and make sure they have plenty of water. For pet sitting I will make sure to complete all of the owner's requests. I also make sure to provide the best care of my ability because your pets needs are important to me!

I am currently unemployed. Therefore, my schedule is very open to multiple appointments! I am going back to school in August but am available for most of the summer!
