I study animal behavior and specialize in care of overstimulated and reactive pets and the behavior modifications to address these. By using positive reinforcement I can strengthen existing training and help with puppy potty training and beyond. I have several years of experience working in shelter animal behavior and continue to use my Fear Free handling skills to make reactive and fearful animals as comfortable as possible. When I needed someone to watch over my cat, I found Jessica, and I couldn't have been happier with her care, she was amazing. She followed all instructions to kept my cat entertained, and even sent me regular updates and cute photos. When I got back, my cat was relaxed and happy, clearly enjoying her time with Jessica.

I have extensive experience with human and dog reactive dogs, please let me know if there have been instances of aggression in the past so that I can help prevent the behavior from continuing! Able to use a variety of equipment as requested, including basket muzzles and harnesses.
A typical day
Your dog and I will go to nearby parks and sniff everything! I can provide longer walks and understand the need for mental as well as physical stimulation. Enrichment is my favorite activity which can look like a variety of things including new scents or playing tug to keep your pup happy til they see you again.

Availability
** Some scheduling flexibility is appreciated!! ** Booking arrival times should be treated as estimates, although I can update you if outside of 30 mins later than scheduled. I am available at most hours between 9am to 8pm Monday through Friday for dog walking. I am regularly available Monday through Sunday for drop-in visits for dogs and cats.
