Born and raised on a farm in east Texas, I grew up delivering our boxer’s, poodles’, border collies’ and skipperkees’ puppies, breeding rabbits for other children in 4-H, showing goats, and essentially loving my life full of pigs, cows, chickens, sheep, horses, barn cats and bringing home every stray from Dallas to the Louisiana boarder. Now I have a precious bischon mix, Penny and my boys… Guinessthe Guinea pig, Bernie the bearded dragon, and Otis the Havanese. I also have spent four years working at our local Waterford Pet Supplies Plus first as animal care taker now as a position I like to call “animal service” wherein I help our neighbors find exactly what they need whether they just got their first puppy or need help with a senior dog’s arthritis. My experience is vast yet ever growing and I can’t wait to meet your loved member of the family “You cannot share your life with a dog…or a cat, and not know perfectly well that animals have personalities and minds and feelings.” Jane G., British Anthropologist I have Multiple Sclerosis. And to be quite honest, the doctor appointments alone are enough to make a traditional work environment tricky. I am very lucky to be a part of the pet supplies plus family but it is incredibly part time. Leaving me time to love on more animals at mine and your conviene. I also believe this will be good for my physical and mental health. Laughter is the second best medicine. Loving animals is the first. When I am with your pet, they are top priority. We are their whole worlds so I strive to be what they expect me to be. I also strive to make you as a client feel safe and secure. I will protect and love your pet with my whole heart through play time, walks, treats, baths, feeding and whatever else they may need. I also am a plant lover…so I’m down to water those babies too if needed.
