Pet care experience
I think I was a cat in a previous life. Cats are drawn to me, I can literally gather strays as I walk down a street. And like a cat, dogs are interested in me too and want to play. As a kid my parents always had a dog and cat, I’ve continued that tradition in my life. I have the worlds sweetest 4-year-old pit mix that adores other animals, after making so many friends at the dog park, we’ve started sitting together. If your doggy doesn’t like others, I can leave her at home, but at 60 lbs, she’s perfect at playing with others of all sizes, including her best friend, my moms Maltese/Yorkie. Our visits are long because play time is fun! I’ve worked at the Humane Society of Greater Akron, multiple no-kill shelters and have had a life-long passion of caring for animals and personal experience with elderly pets and diabetes/insulin injections. I am also a licensed Realtor so I can let you know the current market value of your home and recommended cosmetic repairs lol

Every dog and cat is unique and the main concern is comfort. So whatever your pet prefers is the priority. If that’s the dog park, your back yard, a walk around the neighborhood or just a couple hours of belly scratches. Each visit will be at least a half hour (I guess unless your cat hates people and I can’t find it) I have a current client that loves to play in his backyard with my dog, and we can use his pool, so we’re there outside all day.

It is important to know how well your dog plays with others and if he gets along with mine. Otherwise she can stay home. Obviously she doesn’t help with kitty sitting unless you think that your kitty would like that, she does love mine. I like to know how much you typically feed your pet and at what time and what their usually behavior should look like. Of course any medications or special care instructions.
A typical day
Depending on your situation and the area, but if your dog gets along with Maggie, it’s all day play time in your yard or at the closest dog park! Otherwise, a hour walk around the neighborhood if he’s the solitary type.

As a Realtor, I set my own schedule and can work your needs in around my appointments and showings. I already go to the dog park almost daily with mine, might as well take another along! Drop in visits include at least 30 minutes of dedicated attention plus pet-care duties. House sitting includes 3 visits throughout the day, morning, afternoon and evening for approximately of 60 minutes of dedicated attention, plus pet-care duties and general house duties such as grab the mail and water the house plants.
