Hi, I’m Jess! I’m currently working towards getting my masters and working part-time, but love to spoil my dog Remi in all my free time and hope I can spoil your fur baby too. I’ve had dogs growing up and brought Remi home as a puppy last year. Life just doesn’t feel complete without a dog by your side, ya know? I have experience with puppies, high energy dogs, potty training, and senior dogs. I also feel comfortable administering medications of any kind when necessary. In my free time, you’ll find me outdoors, whether its hiking, running, rowing, or going on walks. My schedule is very flexible, and I am available very early mornings, during the day, and late nights!

The dogs took to Jessica immediately; which is a great thing because Jessica was able to help us out on short notice. The dogs were happy and content when we arrived home. We will be using Jessica again when she is available.
Jessica was hired to house-sit/dog-sit my three Cavaliers. House-sitting means spending the night. There is no way she could have misunderstood my instructions regarding where she would sleep, clean towels in the master bath, location of anything and everything she could possibly need. Two of my dogs got out and luckily two neighbors saw them and returned them. Jessica was not at my home. I was told by three different neighbors that she came twice a day and stayed approximately 30 to 45 minutes. That was it. My very old, extremely sociable dogs were alone nearly 22 of every 24 hours. The dogs survived, but my instructions included spending the night and she did not. That is unacceptable to me. I would not recommend her based on my experience.
Jessica was awesome. She communicated multiple times and sent photos. We were out of the country for almost 3 weeks and I never worried about anything. The house was cleaner than when I left, and our dog looked great. She often loses weight when we are gone but she didn’t seem to at all! I would recommend Jessica to anyone and will certainly use her again! Thanks so much!
Jessica is great! Reliable, friendly, and very good with our bouncy dog and cranky cat. We will definitely work with her again.

A few things that would be helpful to know about your dog before sitting him/her include their age, breed, energy level, and if they have any specials needs like eating habits, medications, behavior traits, etc. that would help me offer the best care possible. I would also love to know a bit about your daily routine so I can implement a similar structure to your pet and I’s time together to keep them as comfortable and happy as can be.
A typical day
I live a short drive from the VA capital trail and the Greensprings interpretive trail which I love to frequent with my own dog! Both are great for longer walks in nature and plenty of sniffing. I also have access to a private dog park which is great for supervised off leash play time, with or without other dogs present.

I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to spend quality time with your fur baby. I’d be open to discuss more details depending on when you’re considering booking. My priority is always to find the best way to accommodate your pets needs and preferences!
