I love animals. From the young age of 11 I have been seriously involved with animals. I was president of my 4-H club and as a teenager I raised seeing eye dogs for the blind (the pre training of the programs puppies). At 13 I started working at a local grooming shop and had my first Champion Lhasa Apso at age 16 (raised and taken care of completely by me) By the time i graduated high school I had bred 3 litters of AKC registered Lhasa Apsos with 5 champions from those litters. After graduating I moved to MD and began training as a professional handler. Within my 10 years as a professional handler ( with my now ex-husband) I bred many other litters with clients and hand raised the litters in our kennel. We showed approximately 20-30 dogs each weekend in shows all over the country and Canada. Too many awards to count, but my love was always in the care and training of the puppies in our care. After a divorce I moved to the Philadelphia area. With an 11 year old son at home we have had pets just for our family. Dogs, lizards, birds, and now a very spoiled kitten. My love of animals has never waned. I am a Reiki practitioner and regularly provide the love to four footed friends as well!
