Big or small, I love them all 🩶

Pet care experience

My upbringing on a farm has taught me valuable lessons about animal care and responsibility. I’ve been confident and successful training various types of animals from adolescence till end of life. I have experience with chickens, rabbits & livestock. I can administer medicine, clean litter & pup pads, stalls and runs if needed. I spent the first two years solely cooking meals for my XL dog and i am food trained in raw feeding. I have a great relationship with my vet who is very close by and open on weekends. I drive a large SUV that I could put crates in to keep your pet safe on pick ups and drop offs. Trips to the beach, lakes and ponds can make for a very fun afternoon!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a 3/4 fenced in yard. My dog is currently trained on an E-Collar and can be off leash in most situations. I can put up a temporary fence easily to make it fully fenced in. But my dog is never alone outside. We have a big back yard but he still likes to be walked 2-3x a day. Each walk around 1 mile. One of my cats has been trained to go in and outdoors. He comes when called and never travels too far. Because my house is animal occupied I’ll need to see updated immunization/rabies and flea & tick preventatives if boarding or socializing.

Information Jessica D. would like to know about your pet

Knowing a dog’s personality to start is very important to me. My dog has helped heal dogs with some reactive issues. Willie is very patient with meet and greets and can take as many times as needed. His end result which is playtime is worth the effort to him and he would make a very good therapy dog. If your dog is reactive we can still have many amazing solo adventures too!

A typical day

We’re a pretty physical family. If your pup wants to be on a run, well run them. If they want snuggles after a satisfying walk, we’ll snuggle them! I have a park within walking distance from my house where all the sights and sounds are exciting. And we have plenty of pup friends we can meet for socializing. If solo activities are better, there’s plenty to do.

I currently work part time as a bartender. All my days are free with the exception of Tuesday. We can take group outings with my dog or privately. I love gentle hikes and live close to a couple areas to do that. As well as I’m familiar with dog parks both heavily attended or mostly empty.
