Pet care experience
I’ve always been an animal lover, and have owned pups since the 5th grade! I have pet sat for neighbors and friends growing up and would love to use this passion into making a little money on the side of being a full time grad student at UT! My sister and I recently lost our pup, so I think caring for other animals for a while will be a good transition before we are ready to give a new angel a home. We also foster FELVY cats with Austin Pets Alive, so we love having animals in our home :)

My home is in a safe, residential area perfect for shaded walks and runs! I also have a fenced in back yard so pups can spend time back there on nice days, and I have a spacious 3 bed room house with room for roaming! Depending on the animal, I will be able to keep them in our guest bedroom when I’m away or in our large crate from our late pup. For boarding, daily walks or run are a must for me and the pup, or daily play time for cats!

I would love to know about any special needs or behaviors I need to keep an eye out for with your pup. I would also like to know if your dog prefers walks or runs, how they act around other dogs and humans, and if I am allowed to give them any treats (like a pup cup from Starbucks)! I have experience with puppies to older dogs and from small chihuahuas to big boxers. I love all kinds of pups and I am excited to hang out with your’s!
A typical day
I am a very active person! I love being outside for walks, runs, and general hanging out. I am fortunate to live in such a beautiful place with good weather and good areas for walks. I walk a lot in my neighborhood and in local parks, such as St. Edwards Park!

Availability
I am a full time grad student working to get my masters in Social Work at UT Austin! I have a 15 hour course load and a part-time internship that is unfortunately unpaid. This strict schedule keeps me from getting a job with an inflexible schedule, but I have to pay the bills! Helping you walk, check in, and/or board your pets will allow me to make some money and benefit from spending time with a furry friend for a while!
