Be guilt-free, leave your pets to me! Thank you for considering me to care for your fur baby/babies! I am an animal lover, experienced dog owner/sitter/walker and I worked as a dogsled guide in BC. I love the outdoors, especially with dogs, and am fortunate to be living a dream by caring for dogs full-time. I believe that exercise and socialization makes for happier, healthier and better behaved dogs. I offer doggie daycamp and overnight camp at my home, or visits and walks from yours. I have dogs most days (regular daycampers plus overnighters) so there's almost always friends available to play with! I live in the country with a large fenced in yard and attached garage (insulated, heated and cool in the summer), with lots of natural light, completely renovated to accomodate dogs. There is a common area with a couch and bed, 5 seperate built in kennels and portable crates available. I also offer the option of keeping dogs in the house under certain circumstances. I give discounts for longer stays and more than one day per week of daycamp. Services include as much outdoor time and exercise as weather and dog allows, socialization and play with other dogs (when appropriate), walks when needed to meet exercise needs, and lots of care and affection! I love taking pictures and capturing dogs in their glory. As an added bonus, I document our days on my Facebook page. **I require notification of accurate pick-up and drop-off times so that I may organize other dogs and plan my home life. **A trial day or night may be required for longer stays and I must at least meet dogs prior to a stay. **Please be honest about your dog's personality, issues and habits. I allow dogs in the house at times and want to prevent possible accidents, risks to dogs (ingesting objects) or damage to belongings. I am willing to work with most dogs, but the safety and health of my family and I, your dog and other dogs are priority. I can keep dogs seperate from other dogs if needed, but I must turn away those with any human aggression or who have severe seperation anxiety and may be destructive or bark constantly (disturbing my family and neighbours). Dogs must be able to be left for short periods of time either in a crate or with other dogs. I make sure they are well exercised and tired before I go out for appointments, other walks, or errands. I require proof of up to date vaccines, including DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza), Bordetella and Rabies. Also flea and tick prevention treatment is required.
