Home Majority of the Week, Reliable

Pet care experience

Fully vaccinated for Covid and Rabies. Full time professional working from home. Long term daily walks are welcome for busy professionals in close proximity; meet and greet and discounted rates will be available for long term dog walking needs. Walks typically last about 30-40 minutes per session. Walks are available in the morning, noon or around 5-6 pm. Most people sign up for noon walks for their dogs so they don’t have to leave work and their dogs can get some walks in during the day. Currently only offering drop in visits and dog walking. Both services are essentially the same. It normally includes checking on the dog, making sure their food and water levels are good and a little play/walking time. Convenient if you’re away and need someone to check on your pets and spend a little time with them. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. (Dog boarding is temporarily unavailable. Please disregard the instructions below.) Boarding requests are accepted on first come, first serve basis. Please feel free to check my calendar for availability. Dog boarding or day care details are below: Available to take the pet out according to their normal schedule for walks and some optional dog park fun so they can play with other dogs (only if the dog gets along well with other dogs or if the dog is larger in size and needs more exercising time than smaller dogs). I usually keep an eye on the dog while he/she chases and plays with others. If there are no other dogs in the park, I'd normally bring a ball or play fetch with them so that they can get the energy out of their system and most importantly, have some fun. I had a husky who didn't want to go back home after being in the park for an hour or so, I had to pretend to be leaving so that she'd know it's time to go home and get some rest. I only feed what's given to me (dog's own food or treats) and water. If permitted by the owner, I can maybe take the dog out for a puppy scoop at Starbucks. Critical attention and gentle care to the pet according to your care instructions as I am home majority of the times. Just let me know how many cups of food your dog eats and how many times throughout the day. I like to spoil and treat them like little human and sometimes I help them shower during an extended stay- typically more than 5 days-as recommended by the American Kennel Club, so that they can maintain their hygiene; of course, using only the dog shampoo provided by the owner. Experienced with adults dogs and house training puppies. I believe in letting the dogs run freely in the apartment. However, smaller puppies that are still being potty trained needs to be crate trained. I will also send photos and updates throughout the day. You don't necessarily need to respond to every update; especially if you're busy since I do send out a bunch of them, I do it just so you can see what your little guy/girl is doing while you're away. :) As for the dog drop off and pick up, I can normally do anytime from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM. People normally drop their dogs off in the mornings or the afternoons. If you have any questions or want to double check, please feel free to reach out to me. Here's a list of suggested things to bring for overnight dog boarding: 1. Food 2. Medications and supplement (allergies medication strongly recommended in Spring as some dogs are allergic to pollen) 3. Leash Optional items: 4. Favorite toy (recommended for extended stay) 5. Poop bags (recommended) 6. Bed or blanket (recommended if the dog has one & the stay is extended, the scent could remind them of home) 7. Bowls 8. Treats

Jessica took great care of Lily, and it showed in the pictures she sent me; Lily was always smiling.

Jessica is a great sitter. Our dog was very happy to meet her and was actually excited to see her again. She provided us with several daily updates which included pictures and videos during his stay. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and would definitely hire her again in the future.

I usually watch tv with them on the couch and study while they’re lying around the house. I also take them out on walks every few hours or so.

Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if there’s any special care instructions for your dog like if they’re taking medication or has special care instructions. I’m home most of the times so I can be present for the dog. It'd also be helpful to know the dog's general personality type and whether or not if they like other dogs, have they gotten into fights with other dogs before...etc.

A typical day

I'd normally walk them behind my apartment and sometimes you can see herds of cows and sheep in a gated facility. They'd usually become intrigued and would start sniffing around. For bigger dogs that need more exercise, I typically take them on a hike or some dog park fun. I spend majority of my time at home, so if I need to get some work done on the laptop, I'll sometimes go out to the balcony with the dog to keep them distracted. They usually like to be out in the fresh air and people watch. :)
