Pet care experience
To say I am a dog lover is an understatement. I grew up with a Cocker Spaniel, Saint Bernard, Scottish Terrier and Shepherd mix. There have always been dogs in the house! I also had the great honor of sharing my young adult life with a very special Yorkshire Terrier for 13 years, whom I miss dearly. I have experience with administering medications (including injections) as well as managing strict and homemade diets. Furthermore, my husband and I have fostered over 15 dogs since the pandemic and have truly enjoyed nurturing them and watching them come out of their shells for their furever families.

Jessica and her family were awesome! This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous, and Jessica made us feel great by sending us updates, pictures and videos, and always quick to respond. Will definitely book again!
This was Greta's second stay with Jessica, and they were both smiling at the end of the visit. Jess is conscientious, communicative, and accommodating, which is important to me, and Greta seems very happy to see her and spend time with her. We're both looking forward to her next visit as soon as I can figure out where to go!
Jess was terrific! She took the time to have a thorough meet and greet, and really got to know Greta's quirks and foibles. They had a successful overnight trial run, and I have booked for a longer stay in April. I'm thrilled to have found such a calm and caring sitter for my sweet, but temperamental, terrier.
Jessica was great! Super easy to communicate with and super accommodating. She sent lots of pics of Sammy throughout the day. I knew that Sammy was in great hands :)

There are dog runs and parks all around Jersey City. When possible I also like to cater to the pup and take them to familiar places, wherever their favorite spots might be that they are accustomed to. Please note, we do have a 4 month-old baby at home now and take safety very seriously.

I would appreciate being made aware of any triggers whether that's anxiety or aggression (e.g. skateboards, children or other dogs) and also any food or environmental allergies or unique characteristics.
A typical day
I enjoy walking around the neighborhood and getting exercise and appreciate nothing more than the company of a dog! I am also a runner and happy to offer this to dogs in need of more exercise. I've always lived a life where dogs were integrated into our lives as though they were family. If we go out to brunch, so does the pup! (unless they aren’t into then brunch thing of course:)

We both work from home which enables a flexible schedule and as I love to be active and outdoors, I can make dog walking (or running) a part of my routine quite easily.
