Pet care experience
I have always been an animal lover and I very much enjoy being home full-time with my playful and gentle pup, Boba. He is a 4 year old, 70 lb Goldendoodle. I have experience with both large and small dogs, and cats. My husband and I both work from home, and due to our dog's separation anxiety, one of us is always home with him (or we take him with us).

Jessica was amazing with our fur babies. She was also very communicative and sent lots of photos and updates. We will absolutely ask her to sit for us again in the future.
Overall Jessica did a great job. Puppy sitting takes constant consistency & keeping an eye on her 100% of the time when she is not napping or sleeping in the kennel. Oreo must always nap in her kennel & not on any of the furniture. I had to break her of that habit, again. She was also going on the carpet in my bedroom. Not sure if she smelled Boba on shag in living room & in bedroom & thought it was okay. Cuddle time on the couch in your lap is totally fine. I promise after potty training it will not be so strict. :)

Sitting at your home helps to maintain your dog's routine and environment. My services for overnight care include feedings, outdoor walks, playtime, lots of cuddles, picking up dog poop in your yard, watching over your home, tidying up, bringing in mail and packages, taking out the trash/recycling (if full), watering plants, cleaning dishes, and washing any used towels/sheets. I will follow the routine you have for your pet as best as possible, including feeding, special care, and sleeping arrangements. My goal is to keep it as stress-free and comfortable for your pets as possible!

I require a meet-and-greet beforehand so that both you and your dog can feel comfortable with me. It is helpful to know a little bit about your dog, including breed, age, temperament, diet, any health issues/allergies, medication, special care needed, and veterinary information in case of emergency. Is your dog friendly with strangers, children, and other dogs? What anxieties and fears do they have? What is a typical daily schedule and feeding schedule? If you have a puppy, I will need to know if it is potty-trained. Due to previous experiences with puppies who are still learning, and how much extra work and dedicated attention goes into caring for them, I do charge more for puppies under 1 year.
A typical day
If I am house-sitting your dog, I will try to follow their normal routine as much as possible, along with lots of cuddles, walks, enrichment, and playtime outside! I will provide you with daily updates and photos, to keep your mind and heart at ease!

Availability
My husband and I work from home, and our schedules are very open and flexible, with lots of time to dedicate to caring for your pet! I am available for house-sitting, drop-in visits or walks on a daily or weekly basis. If I am house-sitting, I will only accept 1-2 additional walks/drop-ins outside of the house-sitting booking. This ensures that I spend as much dedicated time as needed with the pets I am house-sitting for. If I do have to step out, it would be for short periods of time (30-60 minutes). However, for those of you who have pets with separation anxiety, I will be happy to customize a house-sitting schedule to ensure they stay stress-free. I will be happy to stay with them throughout the day with no additional bookings, and even take them with me if I need to run short errands. I understand what it takes to care for pets with separation anxiety! If the weather is above 85 degrees, I will not walk dogs to avoid overheating and hot paws. But I can always provide lots of enrichment such as cuddles, playtime, treats, food, and outdoor sniffing time for your fur-baby.
