Catsitter & dogsitter/walker/hiker!
Pet care experience
I had a dog - a sweet lab mix named Charlie - while growing up, and learned at a young age how to feed, take care of, walk, and play with dogs. While in college, I couldn’t have pets, but after settling in in Salt Lake, I adopted a young cat, Toast, four years ago. I currently live with Toast, a 6 month old kitten named Marmalade, and my partner’s five year old Welsh Corgi, Gus, and love spending time with both cats and dogs. I am also a distance runner and avid hiker, so if your pup needs more exercise than the average dog, I’d love to take them on a hike, run, or longer walk!
Reviews
Jessica has been great with my cats. I am a repeat customer and would recommend!
Jessica was great with our pup! This was our first time using Rover, and it was really comforting to have someone we trusted to take good care of him while we were out of state. Nibs can be particular about people, and has some specific needs for walking which Jessica handled excellently. We also appreciated that she took good care of our place, watered plants, and sent pictures of Nibs throughout our trip. I would highly recommend her as an excellent sitter, and hope she might stay with our dog in the future.
Jess is a hardworking human being, that isn't scared of the heat. They have a huge heart for furry friends, always wanting to give them a scratch behind the ear or a nice pat on the head. Ive trusted Jess with a few of my cats while I've been out of town, and can always rely on them.
I could not recommend Jessica more! She is incredibly responsible, empathetic, and caring. I felt comfortable leaving my pet dog with her as well as them taking an immediate liking to her! Additionally, she was respectful of my space in my absence which made me even happier with my choice of her as a dog sitter!!

I will follow the instructions and needs of the client and their pets - whether that involves multiple walks a day, letting the dogs out into a fenced yard, etc. At this time, I cannot host pets at my place, but that will change with an upcoming move into a house with a fenced yard.
Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know how active a dog is, what types and lengths of walks and playtime they need, any medications they take or need administered, any feeding or treat giving regimens, and whether they get along with other dogs, people, and children.
A typical day
I can take the dogs on walks around their neighborhood, on nearby hikes, and/or to the dog park, depending on the preferences of their owners.

Availability
In the winter, my schedule is very flexible. From March - October, I work at an urban farm, with a split-shift schedule that allows for a lot of flexibility. I am awake early, available for 3 - 4 hours midday, and again in the evenings. I am able to spend nights house-sitting as well. Sundays and Mondays are my days off, so I have full availability those days.
