All breeds, all ages, dog mom of 6
Pet care experience
I am a real estate agent and dog mom of six, small to medium/large sized rescue dogs. I've fostered tiny puppies and rehabilitated anxious dogs through our local humane society. I've done leash training with my own dogs and have no issues working with dogs who need help with leash manners or other general behavior. I've worked with dogs from three weeks old to fifteen years old. I can support and initiate any training that you are in the process of completing. I work on balancing boundaries/rules with effective playtime with all of the dogs in my home and will do the same with your pet using positive reinforcement techniques. I require meet & greets with all new clients. I also own a chameleon and a bird and am very comfortable around all species of animals. I've owned chickens and worked in a horse barn before and thoroughly enjoy farm animal life. To learn more about me and my pets, you can visit our fostering Instagram @fosterfurfriends Ask about my wedding day dog handler bookings! I would love to help make your pet part of your special day.
Reviews
Jessica is the best!
Jessica came over to meet our cats before our trip. She updated us with lots of pictures each day, and the cats seemed very content. We will definitely be booking with her in the future!
Jessica was awesome! She came and met Dolce before hand which I really appreciated and kept me up to date with pictures all day!
100% recommend

I am more than willing to bring one of my own dogs along if your dog is in need of a playmate during their drop in visit. I do require a meet and greet visit (free of charge) before sitting or walking in any capacity for your pet.
Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet
Before dog sitting, I will need to know your pet's level of comfort around other dogs. What are their play habits? What makes them anxious/excited? What are quirks I should be knowledgable about so that everyone can have the best time during my stay? How are your dog's manners in terms of interacting with others and walking on a leash? Are you comfortable with me taking your dog in my car to a secondary location (i.e. Petco, Starbucks, or the Swamp Rabbit Trail)?
A typical day
For walks longer than a half hour, I enjoy taking my client's dog(s) to the swamp rabbit trail. There is also a nearby lake that I have taken daycare dogs to. For drop in visits, I tend to take the dog on a short walk (with owner permission beforehand) and then play with them in the house until our time is over. For cats, I will happily clean litter boxes if needed :) For puppies, I have raised two foster litters from two weeks old and am comfortable with all the mess and training involved. My own dogs love playing in the dog pool, running around in the backyard together, going on local hikes, venturing into Lowes and Petco, getting pup-cups, and having snuggle time after all the adventuring comes to an end.
