Pet care experience
Over the years, I have watched and cared for my relatives' dogs, ranging from younger active dogs to more elderly dogs (like my 12-year old dachshund, Pocky). I am extra careful to ensure dogs only eat their own food and treats so they stay healthy and safe. I can provide long walks and administer medication throughout the day because I work from home. Jessica has helped watch our dog Oreo on a number of occasions. She’s very responsible and reliable. Oreo can be a picky eater, so we appreciate that Jessica follows meal prep directions and frequently keeps us up-to-date with pics. Oreo is always excited to see Jessica and loves playing with her dog whenever he visits. Would highly recommend Jessica for any dog sitting needs!

We live in an apartment building that has two gated dog parks and plenty of sidewalks to stroll around the neighborhood. Your pet will only eat the food and treats that you provide or otherwise agree upon. Dogs will always be kept on leashes while outside and can be crated while inside, if requested. Our home is pet proof!

Prior to a meet and greet, please share a copy of your pet's vet records showing that he/she is up-to-date on the following vaccinations, at a minimum: rabies, Bordetella, canine influenza, and flea/tick prevention. I'd like to know your pet's normal daily routine and schedule (feeding times, number of potty breaks, sleeping arrangements, etc.). Please also inform me of any health concerns, special needs, and sensitivities that your pet may have.
A typical day
A typical day starts out with cuddles in the morning, breakfast, and a 15-30 minute walk (weather dependent!). Throughout the day, we will play fetch, run around the apartment, and have potty breaks. Towards the end of the day, we will have dinner and take another 15-30 minute walk. As each pet has different needs and interests, I will try my best to accommodate your pet's normal activities and preferences.

I have a flexible daily schedule including holidays and weekends. I will coordinate with you to determine your pet's needs and to accommodate his/her normal routine. I will also provide multiple picture and video updates via the Rover app.
