Pet care experience
My mom has now joined me to form a team! This way anyone who has dogs can be included, too. She would be happy to take care of them while I look after the cats. I have had cats my whole life, and have been lucky enough to care for approximately 30 or so cats and kittens. They have ranged from all ages, from newborns to seniors. We lived in a farming community for the majority of my life and have helped take care of family and friends’ cats and various other animals many times. They knew if kitties were involved in any way, just get a hold of me! Right now I have just my one who travels with me, and we love to go on walks together. We have had 6 dogs in my life, and mom had one growing up that she still talks about all the time. She regularly sits for a small dog with special dietary needs.

I would be more than happy to send picture updates! This is something I know I’d want very much. And I’d treat them as if they were my own baby. Give them time to warm up to me. Sit nearby until they are used to me, and once they are, I'll provide all the pets and snuggles they want! I know playtime is very important in a cat’s daily routine, so I’d make sure to play with them using their favorite toys. I am looking forward to meeting any new kitty friends, and mom is excited too! 🐱🐶 Just know that I believe in clear communication and will provide updates to ensure that you can be completely comfortable knowing that your pets are safe and happy while you are away.

It would be great to know their feeding schedule, if they have any special needs/diets, have had any past health scares, friendliness or if they are more timid, etc. And especially for the dogs, if they are potty trained and friendly with other dogs.
A typical day
Lots of cuddles and pampering! If the kitty is a more reserved one, then just sitting calmly nearby and sparkly quietly for a bit so that they know someone is there to care for them. Any and all the toys they’d like to play with, playtime in the yard, and of course walks!
