I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, fish, small animals, birds, reptiles, and pets of all kinds my whole life. I have worked in zoos and vet clinics, and I am American Red Cross Dog and Cat CPR & Basic First Aid Certified. I am skilled with all ages of animals as well, from training puppies to caring for senior pets with special needs and administering medications. I welcome all breeds, and all pets must be current on vaccinations. Please provide proof of current vaccinations at the Meet & Greet. Awesome! From drop-off to an adaptable pick-up, Jess was a fantastic match for my 11yr old lab. Her young retriever is very docile and greeted my old guy with good manners and a kind temperament. She sent a photo of mu guy enjoying a bone while Jess and her pup stayed in on a Saturday night. I’d 100% book with her again, very easy location to reach from Downtown/Southside. Ty Jess.

I treat animals as family. They are welcome to share my home in or out of a crate. I adhere as closely as possible to my clients’ pet care wishes. And my training style is always praise-based and fear free. I want your pet to feel safe in my presence, whether we are in my home or yours or out on a nice walk. I have clearances and references as well and would be happy to provide you with copies.

What is your pet's temperament around other animals and children? Are they fully vaccinated? Do they have any health concerns or special needs? Do they have any dietary restrictions? (I like to give treats and add bone broth for dogs to their food to entice them to eat--please let me know if that's not okay!) :)
A typical day
I like to go on walks or let the dogs run around and play ball in my fenced-in back yard. After the fun we have a snack and nap on the couch.

Availability
Pet care is my full-time job. It begins in the morning with our daily feeding routine, takes place throughout the day with play time and exercise (walks, etc.), and ends with clean up and cuddles in the evening. I teach ice skating part time a few hours a week and run typical errands, but am home most of the time. I can accept drop offs and pick ups between 6am and 9pm. After hours requires an additional fee. I can also provide transportation for an additional fee.
