Loving your pet like it's my own
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Jess. I've been pet sitting other peoples animals and caring for my own animals since I was a small child. I love animals of all kinds and I truly think each one has a unique personality which makes getting to know your animal so fun! I have two dogs of my own, who I often refer to as my fur children. I like to keep them socialized, and they appreciate it as well. We like to go on walks, go to the dog parks, hike, play frisbee, do tricks for treats, and snuggle. In my history of pet sitting, I have administered medication to animals and have the ability to pay close attention to the animals needs. I am intuitive about animals and can usually tell what type of interaction they prefer. Some animals need lots of play, some need cuddling, and some just prefer to be around you, but not touching. I get it. Whether you have a young pup who needs some attention and play time or an old cat who just wants to sit next to someone, I can be that person while you are away! I'll love your pet like it is my own and will send you plenty of pupdates/catograms complete with photos if you like. I look forward to becoming your pet's friend!
Reviews
Jessica was rated highly on this site, so we asked her to come take care of our rambunctious Australian Shepherd and our Ferret while we went away for a week. She sent several pictures of both animals every day as well as an update of their activities. Before we left, we had the impression that Jessica loves animals. Nothing has dissuaded that point of view. In fact everything she did reinforced our belief. Our babies were well cared for. Accidents and messes in the ferret play area were cleaned up thoroughly and everything was tidied and neat. Our dog had been given daily play time with frisbee and toys and appears to have been very well cared for. We strongly recommend Jessica for your pets care.
Jessica and Dave were wonderful to work with and flexible with our needs. Our lab seemed very happy to be with Jessica’s dogs and have playmates, and apparently loved the backyard wading pool to cool off in. Will definitely contact them next time we need a dog sitter. Thanks again Jessica!
I have known Jess for almost three years - two of which I spent living with her and her adorable dog Winston. Jess is one of the most nurturing, yet disciplined, dog moms I've ever met. Winston is always kept active and healthy (yes, carrots are his favorite treats). Despite his big personality, Jess is always good at keeping him in line and commanding his respect. More recently, Jess has been raising a border collie puppy, Myah, who is a ball of love and energy. Jess has been so dedicated to raising and training Myah, making sure she stays active with abundant outdoors/play time, healthy on a good clean diet, and respectful like her brother Winston. Every time I travel, Jess is my go-to for watching after my 3 cats. She listens to all of my requests, dedicates snuggle time to each of them individually, and sends me loads of pictures. I whole-heartedly recommend her for watching over your pup(s). She is an incredibly caring, thoughtful and respectful caretaker. Not only will your pup(s) have the time of their life with Myah & Winston, but will be well cared for and loved by Jess and her fur-family.
I have known Jessica for the last two years and within that time her dog Winston lived harmoniously with my two cats. She is a caring, disciplined pet parent that maintains healthy diet with routine physical activity. Jessica is very detailed and strict when it comes to accommodating special needs or requests. If you want an energetic, detailed oriented individual watching over your pets, while you are away, look no further.

Information Jessica B. would like to know about your pet
Just a few questions I have for you: 1. Has your dog ever disliked any other dog? If so, can you please explain the situation so I can better understand your pet? 2. Does your dog go to the dog park often? 3. Does your dog have any aggression with food? If so, please explain so I can better understand your pet.
A typical day
When dogs stay over they will have the company of my two other dogs which tends to greatly reduce the level of anxiousness while their human is away. We are a pack and I feel that many dogs acclimate quickly. We go on walks at least 1x/day and hang out in the back yard when it's nice out. When we are in the yard we play fetch or frisbee and sniff for any intruding squirrels. If allowed, we will go to the dog park on nice weekend days and play fetch and socialize with the other dogs. At the house, we offer an arrangement of crunchy "stick-like" treats in the form of carrots, asparagus, and other crunchy veggies. If the dog wants, they can participate in the nightly puppy party where we toss the veggies scraps up into the air like confetti and watch the dogs gobble up the goodies. Then, on summer weekends your dog could be a lucky participant of a hike if desired.
